Hardly. This came about in '92 when Clinton was elected. It was the reaction to Clinton's election and, especially, his wife's attempted health care reforms, that lead to the start of the polarization of the the US electorate. The '94 elections were the political reaction.

Fox News doesn't start until '96. Ailes left political consulting in '91.

He may have capitalized on the polarization but he is not responsible for it.

Not Clinton(s) either. It came about because we are an easily manipulated nation of dumb-assed singing vaginas that are so narcissistic that we put ourselves above the greater good.
