way too young, but good musicians die young it seems. Means the likes of Bieber and Kanye are probably immortal! :-(

I'm from Seattle. Chris Cornell is like a god for those who lived through and enjoyed the music scene in the Northwest in the 90's I didn't get to see Soundgarden until they reunited in 2012. They were amazing and can never be separated from Cornell's voice. He will be missed.

Ruled a suicide by Coroner in Detroit

Mithmee18 May 2017 1:03 p.m. PST

Well it would look like he was attempting to get his rocks off by tying something around his neck.

He is not the first to die this way and either will me be the last.

This was not a suicide.

Never did like any of those grunge rock groups either.

So I will not miss him but I hope he RIP.

Citation please.

Another early mover in the Seattle sound who passed way to soon. Too many grunge rockers seems to have trouble with alcohol/ drug fueled depression. RIP!

Mithmee,

So, are you saying it was just another of those unintentional auto-asphyxiation suicides?

CC,

Damm tooting I am.

Well that could be just from living in Seattle, it is a petty depressing place.

Good think I live more than 50 miles south of it.

Mithmee,

It's always nice to know that somebody who knows nothing, and couldn't be bothered to know anything is allowed an opinion.

Hoping you don't live near me.

At least one radio station locally had that version. Who knows where they got it from.
