His, "Children", especially the original video clip YouTube link encapsulated the promises and pitfall of the late 90s for me as a kid, especially in Europe. The creation of the Union, the idea that Berlin, Paris, London were not far anymore. The increasing pace of life in a globalized world. It was part of the world of Euronews, MCM (French MTV) caught on channel Seven X on sleepy mornings. RIP man. The generation sandwiched between the Baby Bommers and the Digitals salutes you. |

I have the Miles album, "Dreamland" on my 'puter, thanks to my daughter. So I was somewhat familiar with his work but only noticed who he is because he passed. That's a tad too young to go, especially from cancer. Glad his "battle" was a short one…………. |
