"Armageddon War Kickstarter already funded" Topic

Sorry for double post but the boards don't cross connect

Armageddon War funded and unlocked its first stretch goal within in 6 hours. In a little over three days it is 160% funded with multiple stretch goals unlocked and many more on the way. About Armageddon War.
Following disease, famine, and economic collapse among the world's first-line powers, conventional war erupts in the Mid-East for what arable land remains. Old allies join the carnage, and the war grows, pitting age-old adversaries and their new friends against each other. Armageddon War depicts the chaos in the midst of this war.

We hope that Armageddon War is a breath of fresh air in the wargaming world. There are no turns, just continuous activations. A unit's close combat modifier is determined not only by its weapons but also by the tactics you choose to use for the assault or defense. When you fire on a unit, it has the option of taking cover, or returning fire, and Action Dice, not endless charts, determine combat's outcome.

This is done by Mark Walker, award winning board war game designer, and veteran of eight very successful KS. They invariably beat their mark within days of launch and IMHO are a great game, regardless of period. Early funding also means unlocked stretch goals.

That's great – it's not a game topic I'd be interested in but it is a style of game that I'd be interested in – so it's good to see that it's already ready to roll.
