The creator of the Gong Show, the Dating Game and posssible Cold War spy and assassin has died. He was a little before my time as I just barely remember those two shows but I really enjoyed the movie.

Stupid autocorrect. Should be Barris.

Just saw this earlier as I read thru the morning news. I hadn't heard or thought about him in years but played a "recommended" clip on you tube a week or so ago. I ended up watching several Gong Show clips for fun. Good laugh.

I remember the "Gong Show" well. Sometimes side splittingly funny and other times utterly silly. Odd and interesting guy. Brought us the "Newlywed Game" and the "Dating Game". Great stuff! Thanks for the fun and funny shows sir! Rest in peace.

Got plenty of laughs from the dude, watching The Gong Show. I read the books too(he also was quite well read). May he be at peace.

Best Gong Show ever was when JP Morgan decided to flash her assets.

Ok a total screw up for me but wonder if it was a omen, When Chuck Berry died the other day on another web sit I confused him with Chuck Barris on a comment.
