And that's why the scientific method is so important. Bad science eventually gets exposed. That's assuming you know specifically that he was acting in bad faith. For example, if he was looking at how sediment was affecting the bayou's ecosystems, then why sample bayous that didn't have sediment funnelled into them? In other words, do you know enough of his work to confidently claim he was acting improperly? From the little you wrote we cannot tell. (I know you mentioned that he was a geologist and my example wouldn't pertain to him exactly) |
