So, I am texting with my daughter about the rugby sevens games in Lost Wages, Nevada, since she doesn't have the sports channel (actually, she doesn't have cable at all). We get to the half for Scotland vs Australia, with Scotland (surprisingly) in the lead (though they lost in the end):

"Scots 14 – 7 Sissies"

That's why I hate spellcheck.

Can someone please tell me how to turn off autocorrect?
I would rather make my own mistakes.

Cleaning out a lot of old papers last week, I came across some decades-old letters from a wargamer pal. Emailed him about the find, saying "Maybe I should save them for posterity ".

You guessed it--Auto-Dolt changed it to "posterior".

Well now,in my defense,if you check the link, you'll find I tamped it down a little--I substituted a period for Reger's exclamation point. (Or should I say "exclamation point!"?)
