When I was using MSN-originated news articles (I no longer use MSN), I would scroll down and make a comment. If for some reason I had had to delete my cookies, and have to sign in again, I'd simply click on Facebook and sign in using my FB account. But other places, lately CNN, although they offer the same icons to click to sign in with, ask me for my password: I have no CNN password. So, I can make a new account. Why put the FB, Twitter, LinkedIn icons on the page to sign in with, and then not allow signing in via FB? This has happened several times with other Neewz pages where I felt like commenting, but could not because I could not sign in with my FB account.

Because They are tracking you, so They can pick you up for reeducation at the proper time.

CNN does this because they have had a rash of Fake Accounts.

But why include a FB, et al. account button to sign into CNN with? That isn't a fake CNN account. And is there even such a thing as a fake FB account? If I have a FB account that I don't really use, other than to sign into other places like MSN or CNN, that doesn't make the FB account fake, just a tool.

Lol. Don't you know? It's UN-American to question CNN, its intentions and its methods. :)

Sorry Great War. I was making a joke. CNN has been under fire from many for alleged fraudulent news articles and reporting practices. Somebody has even come up with the moniker "Fake News." I was playing off that in my posting above. Didn't mean to lead you astray with my own "fake news."

I see. "Fake News" has focused particularly on CNN. I didn't know that……….
