I admit I missed at least one episode, but it's still full of "WTF?" moments. And boy, D'Onofrio has really turned into a blob. |

I like it a lot. This is not "The Wizard of Oz", "Oz the Great and Powerful" or "Wicked". I'm taken by the poppy addicted Witch of the West. |

I just caught up on the first 3 episodes. Seems well cast, well written and acted in striking locations. They don't seem to be skimping on quality. |

Watched the first episode based on this thread. Not too shabby. Looking forward to seeing where they go with the story. |

My family's really been enjoying it. To me, It seems to recapture some of the Oz books' trappings. But I only read Oz when I was a kid, and don't remember many details beyond clockwork soldiers, pumpkin-headed sidekicks and such. If you're a fan of the movie or musical though, don't expect this show to be anything like them at all. |

I wouldn't watch it due to the outright adoration I have for the original books and movie, and also from my priggish dislike of programs like these that seek to hitch a ride on the coattails of other works rather than create an original concept. It's like fan fiction is dominating the airwaves. |

Fair points--do you feel the same about the MGM movie? |
