Wow – what a film! I was a little doubtful, but I was wrong – this is top notch dramatic presentation. What I don't understand though is that I have heard a lot about Liam Neeson being in two big releases – A monster calls and Silence. But…. Felicity Jones – is wonderful in this, and Rogue-1 : fairly integral to the plot there as well.
And another thing…
Why is Lewis MacDougall third billing ? He's only in every scene of the film…..I know he's a kid but he's also the main character. Shame on you advertising industry! |

Well he was a bit…quite a bit….bigger than Groot. On the special effects – I actually thought it was a shame Treebeard wasn't a bit more like this in the LOTR films. Not exactly like…but a bit more…treeish. Not too treeish…or he'd have been Old Man Willow. Was Groot inspired by Tolkien ? I don't know. I suppose someone must have asked Kirby/Lee at some point… |
