Sad to see him pass. One if the great rock voices of his time, the tone and clarity of his his singing was ideal for ELPs style of music. He was also an accomplished record producer.

l'll always remember the first time I heard his voice on "In the Court of the Crimson King" during his spell with King Crimson before he joined ELP.

One of the classics of the Prog Rock era.

Bad year for musicians.

I was able to see ELP open for Jethro Tull something like 20 years ago. They dont make bands like them anymore.

ELP was the first concert I ever went to see back in the 70's. It is really tough to see these obituaries. It is getting to the point where it is not just one band member but sometimes the last band member. Some really fine music.
