I was at Fall-In! (Lancaster, PA – USA) today and had to leave early to finish preparations for one of my kid's sporting events tomorrow. As I started up the engine, I turned on the radio just as a Steely Dan song was ending. Literally catching the last few notes I recognized it as Steely Dan but could not recall the title. The DJ came on and started talking about the various members of the group and mentioned that Skunk Baxter is a defense consultant, in particular a missile defense strategist. I don't think I had ever heard that about him before. I was familiar with his history with Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers but not much beyond that. When I got home I let my fingers do the typing and looked it up on google. Low and behold, it is true. (You do know that everything you read on the internet is true!) I chuckled to myself about the timing of hearing this as I had just left a building full of military specialists. LOL! link |
