Haven't been any posts on this in a while. Anyone else still following it? I am,especially since the return of Morena Baccarin's character! I like the noir tone, with some obvious David Lynch influences. Interesting characters keep coming along, too.

I am getting irritated by some of the dumb moves by the "good" guys, clearly manipulation by the writers to get them into bad situations. Gordon gives up his gun more than any TV cop I remember. Witness the "Sophie's Choice" episode a couple of weeks ago. Why not just shoot the two stooges as soon as he saw them? Something like this:

One of the things I liked about Firefly--you could expect the unexpected.

I watched S1 for 2-3 episodes – no joy there.

Much prefer Lucifer.

Yeah,Lucifer has been ridiculous fun,but it looks like the story arc is heading towards a much more tortured character than season 1.

Grimm, despite the name, seems to keep some humor popping up. I'm looking forward to more.

The choice of the Mad Hatter as the main villain for this season of Gotham is,IMO, poor. An episode or two, fine, but not the whole season. I hope next season is better or I'll stop watching it.

I'm not a violent person, but he needs to be shot in the face.

Hard for me to comment beyond I gave up on it after a few shows early in the first season and haven't felt like revisiting it.

Michael Chiklis has been a good addition. Don't know how long he'll last, though, given the story arc.

Incredible sets and lighting. This is a very visual show, with nearly every scene a work of art. Use of shadow, beautiful moody shots of the Gotham skyline. I just sit there in front of the 70" and watch it in high-def with glazed eyes, it can be so beautiful at times.

But lately the ultra-violence and gore has been repulsive. I hope they don't keep that up because it would ruin it for me. Seems like way too many shows are going that route now. There are way too many cringe-worthy moments these days.

Undoubtedly the "Cable Effect".
