A thrilling account of my harrowing experiences having Facebook throw bizarre friend suggestions at me:

If I wasn't already an advocate for greater Web privacy, I sure as heck would be after this.

People keep wondering why I refuse to be on Facebook.

I know, right? Oh, by the way, Winston -- nice shirt!

Creepy indeed. I don't even use messaging or Twittering. I am not a fan of the 21st Century.

I, too, have chosen not to be a Twit.

I don't tweet, twitter, bleat, chirp, or look for Pokemon; I do have a FB account but primarily as a way to stay in contact with friends who otherwise would drift out of my orbit or who aren't easily reachable any other way. I don't do much else with that account, except post tale tales and pictures and lie about stuff for the amusement of all. I didn't much like the 20th century and I can't stand the 21st! Hard to be a throwback…

just proves not only is big brother watching you, but little brother as well these days.

You have turned off geo-tagging on you iPhone for pictures right? And I'd bet that Facebook still has share privileges based on the photos auto-uploaded to iCloud.

I don't receive notifications at all. Facebook gets an occasional comment from me. This year with its election madness I have been "on" Facebook more than usual. Probably that will end with the elections….
