Is it just me, or are there an increasing number of people who seem to revel in this sport?

I place an ad, hoping to get rid of some surplus modeling items, which occasionally elicits an inquiry.

People usually want pics, to know if you still have the items, links to on-line images, etc., etc..

So, I go to the trouble of actually taking pics, provide the requested images, more info, etc., etc..

Then of course, I never hear from them again.

No thank you for going to the trouble to provide and/or take the pics, info, links, shipping details, and/or other info.

Also, no message back saying I'm not interested, not what I was looking for, or anything else.

Perhaps, being a dinosaur, I'm due to be extinct, and shouldn't expect any civility in the age of people being addicted to their cell phones and Facebook, and too busy to send a simple one sentence reply.

If you really aren't interested in the items in the first place, why bother to ask about them?

Oh well, I guess it is just another sign of the times, and clearly my parents raised me wrong.

I agree. I feel that manners are no longer being taught by parents.

You and many others of us just don't get it. Such civility consumes too many texting characters and cuts into the demands of Pokemon search time.

With you on that Mak.
Its called civility and its not taught by todays parents or the education system.

There are so many.

"Are these still available"?

Reply – "Yes".

Then, nada, even frequently when I follow up with a second message, just in case the spam filter, or internet gremlins ate the first one.

Why ask about something when you don't want it?

Oh, well, not much of a rant, really.

I'm saving that up for Kaepernick.

Round two.

Are you still in business?

Are these still available?

"Blah, blah, blah……..".

Stupidly, I reply, and then of course, nada.

Jokes on them though, since they're wasting their lives too, wasting my time as well.

Oh, and the "Kaepernick Kurse" is real. You saw it coined by me here, first.

;-)
