With a TV, including pic in pic, two computers, two smart phones, and a tablet, I can only stream 7 Olympic Sports at a time. Anyone else on media overload?

Mope. I can't stand the Olympics. grin

Since I have only one TV, an ancient phone that doesn't have internet, and lousy streaming service, my overload comes from switching channels to see if they're airing a sport I'm actually interested in. Most of the sports I'm interested in aren't mainstream sports, so they don't usually get a lot of airtime anyway.

I refuse to pretend to care about sports for 2 weeks that I don't care about for the next 206 weeks. So no, no overload here. I'm watching movies….

NBC has trouble getting out of their own way. I have no cable and only over-the-air NBC. I'd gladly pay for NBC Sports network for 2 weeks or whatever but you could only get it if you have a cable provider. What was once a "free" thing to have so that you could watch the US compete is now a pay item so long as you are a slave you one of the cable companies. WTG NBC.

That and, no overload here. wink

I only have cable because landline+internet+cable was cheaper per month than landline+internet.

I'm not sure what you get over cable was ever "free". You used to be able to watch the Olympics on broadcast network affiliates, but then you didn't get any other programming (for people who don't pretend to care about sports for two weeks, or for people who want to watch rugby but not water polo, or for people who don't want to watch something other than the most popular sports). So "free" sports came at the cost of no programming for other people. With cable (and now streaming), you can get a lot more channels in for a lot less overhead (on the provider side), so there are more options.

I still wouldn't have cable if it weren't cheaper to have it.

Fortunately, I do have cable, so I can watch the sports not covered on NBC. I have to wake up early in the morning to do so (I usually work swing shift, so I can sleep in for a bit). But how often do I get to watch Fencing, Judo, or Archery? Like I said, my sports aren't exactly mainstream.

Can't wait until Tae Kwon Do starts!

Scratch what I posted. The only Judo match they've shown was Kayla Harris' match, and only because she's American. If she loses in the semifinals, the medal matches probably won't be aired.

And no fencing like the TV guide promised. The website says it will air between 5-9 pm PDT. Hopefully they don't preemt it again. I really hate beach volleyball, and that's what they've been showing instead.

Stupid NBC!
