… Until It's No Longer Physically Possible.

"There are few franchises out there right now that I love as unequivocally and without exception as the Bourne franchise that Universal has been keeping alive since the early aughts. Though the films lack the stylistic oomph of something like the similarly estimable Mission Impossible franchise, each film is staggeringly engrossing, kinetic, and totally exhilarating from beginning to end. That goes as much for Doug Liman‘s The Bourne Identity as Tony Gilroy‘s oft-derided, actually pretty stellar The Bourne Legacy, and word from a few sources says that the upcoming Jason Bourne, which once again pairs Matt Damon with director Paul Greengrass, is just as good. Matt Damon joked about making "The Bourne Redundancy" way back, over ten years ago. But if people keep going that means they want these movies. People want the movies, the studio keeps making the movies, everyone wins.

Somewhere right now there's a nine year old actor playing the part of someone's kid in various movies, and unbeknownst to us all they'll being playing Jason Bourne in the 2030 VR reboot. Makes you think.

They keep making James Bond movies. What is the difference?

Jason Bourne is quite better than James Bond movies… (smile)

I agree, Armand! I haven't given a hoot about Bond for years.

I have limited interest in Bourne – I will watch it, but the paranoid conspiracy tenor of it is tiresome.
