'Kesha's mother has called on artists to "refuse to perform" at the Billboard Music Awards.

The 29-year-old singer – who has claimed Dr. Luke had been sexually abusing for over a decade – has been banned from performing at the spectacle on May 22 after the producer's label Kemosabe records "rescinded its approval" for her to perform at the event following concerns she'd speak out about their legal battle'

Wait a minute…

It isn't the Music Awards stopping her, so why try to wreck the event… surely she should be trying to have a go at the record label?

"Are KEMOSABE's actions today the actions of a record label that is trying to promote the success of their artist ?

"Wouldn't any record company fight to have their artist have the exposure to millions? Only if they wanted their artist to succeed ! (sic)"

Well, gives ammo to say record label is not doing it's job in promoting the artist, but still not the fault of the event.

A definite train wreck moment all round.

I shudder to think of the 'artists' they will roll out. Best to skip the lot and listen instead to Sticky Fingers, Led Zeppelin II and Blood on the Tracks. Hmmm, and maybe Electric Ladyland too.

Cheers,
Aaron
