Did anyone else get the feeling this hour was shot last year? It felt like very little was expanded upon and the writers were just spinning their wheels. ymmv Seems like we are still in book 4/5 with the exception of the Dornish story line. |

Could have been. You are right this did have a more wrap up the last season feel. Jamie gets back with his daughter's body. Jon's friends are ticked that he was murdered. Dan is now a prisoner. Sansa does escape. My guess is the next episode should move the story on. |

Idunno. I thought they hit the ground running. |

I think they did as much as the could with so many different plot lines running simultaneously. I was relieved that Sansa is now with Breinne and I was surprised by the coup in Dorne. (I had half-expected Jaime to turn right around and come back to insists on the execution of the Sand Snakes until I remembered that he was on a Dornish ship and I'm quite sure the captain had been instructed to take him to King's Landing and NOWHERE else :) Actually, I think the biggest development was handled in a very low key fashion, and that was Jamie. All through the series he has sort of just drifted along letting events take their course, even after losing his hand. But now I'm seeing him truly wanting to hit back at the people hurting him and those he loves. If the preview is any indication, I think the ones who hurt Cersei are going to be the first to pay! |

I thought it was a very solid premier closing up open questions from last season and positioning for new developments in the next episode. |

Ok, I want this on a T shirt. "Seeing a beautiful woman naked for the first time is among the five best things in life." |

Crushing your enemies, etc |
RavenscraftCybernetics | 26 Apr 2016 6:24 a.m. PST |
1) Crush your enemies 2) See them driven before you. 3) Hear the lamentation of their women. 4) An MLT where the mutton is lean and the tomato is nice and ripe! |

But now I'm seeing him truly wanting to hit back at the people hurting him and those he loves. My friend (who just started watching last season) felt the same way. Then I let him know that pretty much everything – the whole state of chaotic affairs – is the result of Jaime and Cersei killing people to protect themselves/their secret. Everything. |
Winston Smith | 26 Apr 2016 8:32 a.m. PST |
No. It's all (most of it)Littlefinger's fault. |
darthfozzywig | 28 Apr 2016 4:01 p.m. PST |
Well, you do have a point there in that he manipulated Cersei into going all Cersei on Jon Arryn, Robert, Ned, et al. |
Winston Smith | 29 Apr 2016 7:06 a.m. PST |
Littlefinger had Lysa poison Jon Arryn. That set the whole plot in motion. That started the whole Chaos he thrives on. |

Don't care what happens as long as the Boltons are dead by the end of the season! |
Earl of the North | 02 May 2016 2:04 a.m. PST |
Well they made a start on wiping out the Boltons. |
Inkpaduta | 02 May 2016 10:25 a.m. PST |
And Jon is back! So the whole, is he alive is he dead thing is over. However, since he died, does this mean is oath to the nights Watch is now void? I believe it is and he will get more involved helping Sansa. |

So, it was only a flesh wound? |
Captain Gideon | 04 May 2016 5:31 p.m. PST |
Looks more like 10 flesh wounds but the bottom line is that Jon Snow is back and I'm happy for that. |
