First, cut out 30 minutes of wasted time. It should have been a 60 minute show. Of course, that gets rid of extra commercial revenue. Cut to the final scene. Out of the RV come Negan. "Hello, " he says, "I'm Negan. You must be Rick and Company." Negan paces back and forth in front of his captures who are on their knees. He looks them over as he continues. "You've killed some of my people. I don't like that. No Sir, I don't like that at all." He continues pacing. "I'm not a religious sort of guy, but I do believe in one thing from the Bible. I believe in an eye for an eye." He stops in front of Carl and with a grin and a cock of his head says, "No offense." He then turn to either Aaron or Eugene and bashes his head in. THE ATTENTION OF THE FANS IS FULLY FOCUSED! THEY GOT WHAT THEY WERE EXPECTING! Negan paces more continuing his speech as our intrepid band of survivors look on in horror. THEN when he reaches the end of his soliloquy he turns to Rick and says, "Yes Sir, you killed some of my people. And I believe in an eye for an eye. One of your men is over there, (Negan faux shutters) kinda messy…..but that isn't enough…." NOW we get the final "who gets it" scene. ****************** I've killed off two regular cast members…but you, dear viewer, know for sure the ID of only one…….. Have a good summer……. |

I really think that this will backfire on them. Fans will truly resent this cliffhanger. I think there is a difference between this and a few other cliffhangers. In Dallas, JR was a comic book villain. It was easy to dislike him, and who shot him was just a matter of curiosity. Jon Snow was killed at the END of the season. Book readers already knew that. And as soon as it happened, everyone had a theory about how he will come back. And resurrection of the dead is not unprecedented on this show. On Walking Dead, all we know is that one of our favorites is going to die violently. And now we have to wait 6 months to find out who. I resent it. |

I resent it. And I resent the near constant commercial interruption. What a way to continually take you out of the moment. I wonder if they are gonna play a switcheroo and not follow the comic on this one. |

"I wonder if they are gonna play a switcheroo and not follow the comic on this one" Yeah, that is my wonder too… |

They have broken from the comic before. 2 weeks ago the Doctor took the arrow….I've been told in the comic it was Abraham. And some of the earlier character deaths haven't been in sync with the comic….. |

I don't resent it. I'll just find other things to occupy my time till it comes back in the fall. As far as Negan is concerned I think he's being a little overconfident. The score between his group and Rick's is about 30 or 31-1(I lost count at the end) in Rick's favor. I'm not about to humiliate them and murder one of them in cold blood and then leave them alive. But like I said in another post, this show is driven by bad decision making and this will come back to haunt Negan. Badly. |

Negan has the makings of a great Dark Ages feudal lord! Just what's needed IMO. Rick needs to get on board. |

If Negan had any brains he kills them all. |

Maybe John/Winston, Negan has managed with other groups like Rick one and was succesfull… they all work for him sooner or latter… if he has a group as Rick gang working for him… well… he would have a good profit… (smile)… but we know that this would never happen… Amicalement Armand |

If Negan had any brains …then none of Rick's group would moments later. |

That what I think is how they will end Walking Dead on TV. Rick wakes up in the Hospital after being shot and there is Lori, Shane and Carl. "Boy, did I ever have a weird dream." People are just sick of cliff hangers and WD gave us three this season alone. This should have ended with Negan's first swing at the character he kills, then the camera is on Rick as we hear off screen the smashing of the character and we see Rick realizing how really bad he screwed up. |

The forces Negan deployed were more than enough to overwhelm Alexandra. I think the feudal warlord model is the only one that makes sense. The fact is that Rick did it with hilltop. Again the numbers Negan has, he does not need Rick and Rick et al are a threat. His rates are likely too high for what he offers. He probably has enough manpower to eradicate the Living Dead in the area. The last two episodes have been increasingly silly. |

I think Rick will wake up in bed with a zombie that resembles Suzanne Pleshette. |

I don't resent it but I don't buy how they were caught. Also I take it this is following the comic books. Why they continued when they were getting blocked. Forget it, turn 180 degrees and run away. |
