I just found out, all by myself, how to recover my product key to Windoze Office 2007. And with that key (purchased way back IN 2007), I was able to download Office 2007 directly from Microsoft. My new 'puter now has Office 2007; without the CD; without even having the product key starting out. (I have no clue how I managed to lose the CD: I've always made a point of keeping all currently used software in a box. But it's gone without a trace.)

I dislike the look of the free word processing program "WPS Office suit", that came with my new laptop and Windoze 10. Enough to bother trying to get Office 2007. And I am successful! Wow, I feel smart. But am I a geek yet?…

How did you do it? I didn't get a CD with my new Win7 computer.

I downloaded Magical Jellybean and it found my product key on my old laptop. Then I was home free, literally, as Microsoft had my original authentic purchase on file.
