The tintinnabulation of the snow! It mocks me so! Two feet of snow. Big deal. But … government shut down. So? So, I have a big bucket of minis and the new Ascension card game that are "out for delivery" as of 1415 last Friday. That means they scanned the barcode as they put it on the truck and then parked said truck at the post office as it wasn't going out on Friday. Or Saturday. Sunday off. And now Monday off. No dollies … er … historically accurate wargaming miniatures. No game. And, if a got up on my roof (which, admittedly is a stupid idea with the ice and snow right now) and looked across the valley, and up toward the crest of the next hill, I could see the mail truck that my stuff is in. It's just. Right. Over there. Mmmmphpmmmpmphhhpmpmpmphhhpmh! |

We're due your superstorm tomorrow. Having crossed the Atlantic it's all nicely warmed up, so instead of snow will be bringing us gale force winds and 4+ inches of rain instead. More floods then…. |

Dom@ Yep but I'd still takes lots of rain over lots of snow I hate snow with a passion. |

I hate snow too. Maybe that's too strong. I like snow, just not on the roads. Thought I could make it in to work today. No. Two way traffic on a single lane. We have mounds of snow 6 feet high on each side. Then we get to the cross streeet. i need to make a right, but I can't see if anyone is coming because they have not removed any snow from the corners. I would have to pull out into oncoming traffic, just to see if it is clear to turn. The light went green and I went straight, turned around in a parking lot and then came home. They have a lot of work to do on secondary roads and then they might make the neighborhoods. |

Well Dallas is only a bit nippy at 33 degrees Fahrenheit and climbing to 56 by mid day. Clear and sunny for now. At least we are not having anymore winter tornadoes. |

Loved the title, then clicked and realized I wrote it ~a month ago … ;) We got some snow over the long weekend and got delays. Then Tues, it started raining early. That washed away the snow, but not the stupid. Two wrecks a block from my house. Glad I opted not to drive in. |

I've done that myself. A version of "I crack myself up", I reckon. Springlike weather lately in the Salt Lake Valley. The meteorological first day of spring is only nine days away (and nine instead of eight because it's a leap year)…. |

Changed title from "Snow! Snow! Snow! Snow!" to "Snow! Snow! Snow! Snow!" That's odd…. |
etotheipi | 22 Feb 2016 12:29 p.m. PST |
The change in title is tied to the Lord High Editcutioner, as a right and proper servant of the pheasants, moving this thread from where I posted it to where I meant to post it. Defer! Defer! |
