That's old news! (LOL)

Seems they must have had a Hollywood agent who just kept rebooting them.

"So the hero makes thus deal with Tiamat…"

"Tiamat? Really? That's so done. Audiences are sick of Tiamat. I'm sick of Tiamat. Gimme something new!"

"Uh, okay, so he makes a deal with Set."

"Now you're talking! New, fresh, got that whole pointy- top pyramid thing going for it that all the kids are into these days. I'm totally sold! Golden, baby, golden!"

"I'll huff and I'll puff and blow your house down" has always been quite popular….

First pyramid where of hay, the jackal blew it down and ate the mummies.

The second pyramid was of wood, and the jackal blew it down. And ate the mummies.

The third pyramid was of stone, and no mater how hard the jackal huffed and puffed he could not blow it down.

So instead he fired a howitzer at the sphinx and blew of its nose. And said : Bleeped text you and your tasty Bleeped texting mummies, I'll go eat some pigs they don't have aposable thumbs!

Conan. Gilgamesh. Melqart. Herakles. Irminsul. Hoder. Balder. Cuchulainn. Susanowo. Samson. The overlaps are obvious and as inescapable as plagiarism is as old as humanity….
