Thus far, it has been a pretty decent surprise for me, compared to the SyFy channel's usual fare.

Seems to be well written, and the visuals are quite good, though some are a bit dark, and hard to make out what is going on, I suspect on purpose (typical tactic in CGI work, to save money, I suspect).

Looking forward to another episode tonight.

Might make for some interesting, near-future space battles, and skirmish gaming too.

Good stuff. The space battle was quite a lot like my wargames (minus the stealth ships). It could even be how the future of my campaign setting is like.

Need to catch up

I watched the first episode yesterday, together with the first episode of Killjoys and Dark Matter. Of the three The Expanse impressed me more. Killjoys came second, and Dark Matter third. It had the fewest cliches in its first episode, the tech seemed much cooler and closer to sci-fi, and the political situation much more thought out (I prefer states fighting to corporations etc).

The flip and burn was awesome.

I'm recording it, but haven't started watching it yet. But a number of my friends have raved about it.

I like it for the writing and the acting.

I watched the first 4 episodes back in December. Glad there is a new episode out!

Watched 1-5 and I guess I'll stick with it for now. But, some of the other shows I watch are due back next week.

The books are really, really good, so I hope the show is good as well.

And I hope I'll be able to watch it legally in these here woods soon.

The books, Leviathan's Wake and so on, by James Corey, are almost as if written for TV. Can't recommend them enough.

So far I am much impressed. Well written, decent tech stuff and some very good actors and actresses.

Sorry for the Necro, but it deserves resurrection. This is a really good show. Wrapping up season 3 and I read season 4 will be out later this year. Catch it on Prime Video.
