Warboar Games has recently located from Bromley High Street to a new larger location in The Mall, very close to Bromley South train station. Billed as the, 'Largest Gaming Centre in London', they stock mainly sci-fi and fantasy (but have a few historicals) along with paints and brushes. Upstairs are several tables that can be booked for games. Further details at: warboargames.co.uk Warboar shares the ground floor (and several more tables) with the Paradice Board Game Cafe (Paradice…Para-dice…board games…you see what they did there?). Probably over 150 games for you to choose from to play, everything from family games to card games to Eurogames to a couple of wargames, and most likely most things inbetween. The cafe serves a selection of hot and cold drinks and light snacks. Check with them first for the cost of table hire. Seem to remember it s £5.00 GBP GBP a table for as long as you want during the week, and £5.00 GBP GBP for three-hours table hire at the weekend. Both have their own Facebook pages; Warboar: facebook.com/Warboar and Paradice: link Worth a visit, especially if you have a few hours to spare and want to try out some board games. Ezza |
