Just about to finish the first one.
I noticed that book 2 is by a different author.
Are the sequential or stand alones?

Best to read at least the first four in order, after that, I would still stick to the order of printing, but there is some flexibility there.

I read the first two and am on the fourth one now. It was a long time ago when I read the first two so I probably don't remember a lot of the things that happened. I do need to get my hands on the third one though it does seem like I missed somethings.

That being said this one is told from a totally different perspective and if you knew nothing of the other ones it might be a very good book to read first.
