I have a whole book full of unlikely animal pairings (including the above-cited match) I picked up cheap in a sentimental moment a couple of years ago.

Not five minutes down the road, in one of the few remaining local paddocks (fields) not yet subsumed under a new housing estate, there's a goat that's achieved celebrity status through having been adopted by a mob of kangaroos.
