I have a large whiteboard at work, on which I write various deadlines, reminders etc. While I have various electronic things with these on, being able to glance up and see the upcoming work is helpful, and means colleagues can instantly see my current position.

On Thursday I wrote at the very top

73,725,109,598 days since the last T. Rex incident.

No one has yet questioned it.

I've done silly things like this with reports going to high level management with no response. One seriously wonders why we waste our time with such "reports". Our CEO wanted a stocktake done and rather than tonnes, I sent it as bushels. No response at all. Nothing.

If you have lots of wet wipes or hand soap, you can rub red dry erase marker on your hands and make decent blood drippy handprints on the board.

To really freak them out, get a time machine, get a t-rex, after a few of them gets eaten, they might pay more attention next time.

We have a pre-meeting to discuss a report before the actual meeting on the report and a consolidation meeting to accept all the report changes and a final production meeting once it is to be published in a draft format and forwarded up.
…And that doesn't count all of the other meetings and associated e-mails that go into publishing it (and then the lawyers have to screen it).
Usually there are between 3-5 more draft copies and meetings before the report is published.

Bugged?

As of Friday 5pm (11/12*) still no one has said anything. Not sure if unobservant or just used to me.
