Nearly 20 years ago and with little success I played Harpoon on a Pentium laptop and it ran agonizingly slowly; in 2002ish I bought it again but with a new baby and no time never did get it to run.

Is there any equivalent PC sim today?

Perhaps the wrong place to ask but there seems to be no other….

The revamped version is here:

The original still sells well, since modern computers can finally run it:

A lot of folks rave about this one. I have it, but don't like it, as I abhor the interface, but many folks simply love it.

play Harpoon, all are good, but I find command stretches my computer (and its an i7 overclocked overcooled beastie with lots of ram and a top whack graphics card)

I like the ultimate edition..

and it is still a great toolbox..
