Heads up to anyone who got notified of the Wargames Vault data breach. My bank just called with over $6,000 USD worth of fraudulent charges on my credit card. You should check out your account very carefully.

Sorry to hear that. Glad they caught it.

Yeah, my bank is pretty good at this. The good thing is I will get all the charges refunded to my account.

Always used PayPal

Thanks for the update. I'm no longer debating how seriously to take this.

Dang. I wonder how far this category of target can go. I imagine that small hobby businesses are pretty vulnerable, and hackers really don't care where they get the credit card info.

Like Saber I try to stick with PayPal whenever possible. But I guess it is only a matter of time before PayPal gets hacked too.

Well, that's a nice little dose of Sunday morning sunshine. Ain't it.

Yeah, I got the email from Wargame Vault giving me the 'good' news… No damage (apart from the hassle of getting a new card). The one good thing is that your credit card account is safe; any fraudulent charges are removed.
