I like It

The smoothest major up date to present. My dyslexia stuff works without any changes all the stuff I use frequently runs smoothly. No 'Improvements' that aren't that are difficult to turn off.

Same here. Smooth install and so far no issues with programs.

Waiting on some software conflicts to be worked out prior to hopping over. Otherwise so far so good. Got one machine in the house running it.

To get the update, I have to turn back on the Windows Automatic Update feature, and I'm really leery of doing that, because Microsoft nearly bricked my laptop a few months back. One of the automatic updates made my DVD drive, wi-fi adapter, and a few other important items stop working entirely. The only way I was able to save it was to restore from a backup I'd made a month prior.

So… as much as I want to move to Win10, I'm worried that trying to do so will end up doing more harm than good to my laptop. Am I just being paranoid?

Not paranoid at all, if it works fine now just carry on and for get windows 10
