Okay, let's get something out of the way right now: I don't consider myself one of those hard-core rivet-counter historical accuracy kind of guys when it comes to my wargaming. I'm willing to make concessions for the sake of good gameplay. But quite frankly this game burns my butt.

Don't get me wrong: The devs did their homework, the ship models are freakin' gorgeous, and the gameplay is tense and exciting. The problem is THE OTHER PLAYERS! When a game about naval engagements FEELS like a naval engagement and not a pack of neckbeards/Bleeped text talking 14-year-olds flailing around, i'll actually pay attention, but for now this game is just too damn frustrating for me to recommend…

As screwed up as World of Tank, huh.

Don't care for any of the "world of" games.

But I'm not that big into "bit metal thingies" exeption being pkanes. But didn't care for world of war planes.

I was a Closed Beta Tester & I love this game, in closed beta had better players, and not too many cretins.
It can be very fun or very frustrating depending on your team (in both cases; the players who don't know tactics or got brains).

Destroyer are hard to hit from being very manoeuvrable but when hit with HE are destroyed easily, is great fun to try & sneak up to BBs & CVs and let them have salvo or two of torps. The number of dopey BB captains who don't know how to dodge torps (or give a bleep about torps) & just drive along in straight lines.

Never considered WOT to be screwed up, it isn't designed to be a tank simulator only a computer game with tanks. Never had problem with its system just learned how it worked (played around 24k games & still like my Hellcat).

With World of war plane, wargaming.net have admitted they totally screwed up with it & need a lot of work to fix. Try WarThunder for good plane battles (realistic mode will be fun to play).

If want more realistic tank game use WarThunder, I like their damage system but agree with Jingles that the setting for the scenery & planting need to be fixed, thinking you are hidden by a bush, nope, you can bet that someone has the vegetation switched off in settings.

Remember moronic players are found in most games.

MMG.

I have found that World of Warships is far better than World of Tanks.

Yes there is still the grind of moving up the Tiers but that is not that bad.

Now the biggest thing is idiots players.

Like those individuals who think it is fun to get in close to your Battleship and fire off a spread of torpedos.

The only thing is he is on your side.

Had this happen to me last night when a Destroyer moved in next to me and on purposed fired a full spread into the side of my Battleship.

The only thing I was the only he got to do this too since I blew him out of the water.

So there was the rest of the team down two ships from the beginning.
