YouTube link By the way, I seem to remember that when they had their first Number One hit, some people initially believed they named the group after the classic comic strip character "Blondie", or that that was Ms. Harry's actual name (because of her blonde hair). Anyhoo, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Ms. Harry, and thank you for all the cool tunes!

When I saw this on the news this morning it made me feel old. Then I realized that Ms. Harry was in her 30s during the peak of Blondie's success, which made me feel better. |
