This coming weekend at Ohio History Connection,Columbus,OH. Just a stone's throw from the Ohio State Fairgrounds and Crew Stadium.

I was going to go, and try to participate. The rules say no individuals or independents. AND, participation by invitation only. For those who are going to watch, call to make sure this is correct. Parking $10.00 USD a car, entrance to the village $6.00 USD per person. I may just show up anyway, and see what happens.

Slow Trot, what was your unit again? I know that you have said it before, but I couldn't find it. In case we cross paths. I'll be the guy in full tiger uniform, glasses, big moustache, carrying a Walker, big bowie knife on the back of my belt.

Unit was the 9th Kentucky, and am considering retiring from the hobby due to health issues(osteoarthritis, among other challenges).

I was there on Sunday only. No rain, for a change. We drove the Yankees back into the village. They counter attacked and hit us from three sides. We all died a miserable death. Sorry to hear about your health. Just come in uniform and watch. I walked around with my cane (period correct) most of the morning, and decided to go out to the car and get my musket and cartridge pouch at the last minute.
