I like a bit of fiction to go with my gaming interests.
Soon to me the Eastern Med in WWII. Mainly the Aegean.
Just finished Guns of Navarone
and into Storm Troop by Leo Kessler.
Any other books I should be looking to get?

Check out Douglas Reeman. He had several books set in the eastern Med.

An old one but a good one:

" The Ship" by C S Forester – focuses on Malta Convoys and other events in the Med

Eastern Approaches. Not a novel, but well worth reading:

Another recommendation for Reeman.

Also Bandersnatch by Desmond Lowden. In the '60s, an ex-RN MTB commander is living on his old derelict boat in the Spanish Riviera. He decides to refurbish her and kidnap a Greek tycoon (a stand-in for Onassis) from his luxury super-yacht (a stand-in for Christina O). In addition to the "modern day" crime caper, there are scenes set during WWII in the waters off Greece. It's well written, fast-paced, and definitely worth picking up, especially if you like The Guns of Navarone and Assault on a Queen (books or movies).
