No maps? NO MAPS? This is a shocking age when everything mankind has learned through tortured generations is being cast off thoughtlessly. This new generation has no character, moral fiber, or fashion sense. And apparently they're ignorant of marketing. It is the end of all things. |

I don't know about *every* generation, but at least as far back as "Sayings of the Spartans" (approximately 2200 years old) each generation has seemed to the preceding generation to be lacking in every sense and leading mankind to its destruction. Even then it was thought that older folks always thought younger folks to spiraling out of control. But now it's different. Really. But we're in danger of thread drift, so let us return to the main point, which is that a one volume fantasy epic is as silly as a three-volume detective novel. |
