And there has been a spike in tax fraud. Turbo Tax has suspended e-filing for now.

Yeah, I heard about this. Not good, as I get my taxes done through volunteers at a local library, and I wonder if they use TurboTax?

The advancement of technology is a good thing, but it's also become a bad thing, too.

Why can we as a species be more mature and leave everything the Bleeped text alone? I guess I and the rest of sane humanity are asking too much.

Interesting that it only seems to be state filings and not Federal. I assume this is because the cybercriminals are less fearful of, say, the Comptroller of the State of Maryland than the IRS.

The advancement of technology is a good thing, but it's also become a bad thing, too.

Technology is neither good nor bad, only useful in certain circumstances. It's the people using the technology that suck.

Also, the current indicators are not that Turbo Tax (or Intuit) has been hacked. The current indicators are people are sloppy with their passwords and had their accounts compromised.
