…but instead I'm sitting at my desk at work waiting on developers to locate an issue with a newly deployed service. I've come to the conclusion I'm not getting out of here anytime soon.

If you are in the area and have the time – check out the Dawn Patrol Rendevouz at the National Museum of the US Air Force. Great time – flying aircraft and R/C planes and some tableop miniature gaming too!

Awesome event. I attended most of yesterday and a couple of hours today. Got a bit sunburned out there.

Sorry you got stuck at work today, Ray.

Saturday was a good time. Would have liked to go back and see some of the stuff that I skipped or skimmed over.

Wre the Over the Front back issues down to fire sale prices today?

Still at the desk…still waiting on a resolution.

Select Over the Front back issues were still $5 USD each today. I picked up the Osprey Balloon-Busting Aces book, as well as the DVD set on Frank Luke (from the author of The Stand).

The crowd was much lighter today, and the parking much easier.

STILL at work? That bites…

Yeah…still.

Sorry for your suffering Ray. I worked yesterday and took a couple of trouble calls this morning myself. I did have a nice lunch with family. I might get a day off in a couple more weeks. What good cons come up within 300 miles of us in late October?

The G Dog Fezian29 Sep 2014 5:52 a.m. PST

LOL. It's a tough life ain't it!

Sorry for the b***hin. What was supposed to be a 3 hour cruise turned into a 10 hour day. At least next weekend I expect to be there all day long.

After that – it's Fall model train season coupled with helping a friend with post-surgery recovery. I've got train shows on the schedule through mid-November including a trip up to Lombard IL in October. Game cons within 300 miles? Nothing springs to mind now that AtC is over. The local boys are busy with Wings of Glory and dusting off the ACW naval ship models.
