My son and I are going to take part in our first reenactment as part of the 11th North Carolina Infantry at a living history display at Ft Macon link this weekend. I know that I am a bit overweight for a Johnny Reb but my son who is 20 and a US Marine really looks the part, if you get past the short hair. If you're in Eastern North Carolina drop on by as Ft Macon is an interesting place and it's free.
