I just read Parzival's Post about Spider-Woman. I caught the hoopla on the news a couple of days ago. I finished "Trekker Omnibus" the other day. Maybe folks will feel better about Mercy St. Clair's attire? link Ted |

Unless the cape has some morphing camouflage, or hides her heat signature I'd say ditch it, looks silly. Thanks for the heads up, I put it on my "one day" list. |

You're welcome. I never understood the use of capes even in the super hero genres. Seems like it would always get caught on/in something, as what happened to the villain in "The Incredibles." :) Ted |

As for capes, Batman has used his as weapon, a smoke/gas filter, glider wings, a decoy, a distraction/misdirection tool, camouflage (of a sort, as in hiding in the dark) and a way of distorting his actual target profile so as to throw off the aim of gunshots. And of course to create the terrifying image of a giant bat swooping out of the darkness. But then, he's Batman. |
