It's a simple yet cool game.

You are a SWAT team, you can play the game 3 ways.

Make a plan of attack, and try and complete the mission.
Make a plan but you change it underway when unexpected things happen.
Play it in semi real time, move the Officers around in real time ect.

I Prefer the first style, you plot out the movement of the officers, decide which way they will aim, cover, throw flashbangs ect.
Then you start the mission and see if your plan works, often it takes alot of attempts and restarts, some timest you just have to alter the plan a little, other times you have to start all over.

You "level up" in 3 ways, the officers level up and get better(they can die and you have to start over with new ones)
YOU levl up, which open up new "unit types" you start with just point men, with pistols, then you get assualters, with rifles and SMGs, then breachers with shotguns, then a unit that carries hand gun and shields, and finnaly stealth with silenced weapons.

The third level up is a sort of currancy. stars, each map can give you up to three stars, to get that you have to complete the mission under the time limit and with out loosing any officers.

The maps start out easy, a few baddies, then they get harder and harder, more baddies much more complex maps, then they throw in hostages and bombs.

You can use the stars to buy new ecipment, as you do not get more stars from completing missions you allready have gotten the full 3 stars on you have to soldier on and go for the harder and harder missions to get more stars to buy more stuff. I have bought a new pistol a Sig p226, there are sevral other but I find the 1911 and sig is enough, the 1911 do damage but few rounds, the sig has more rounds but less power. I also bought an M4 becasue the Mp5 has to little power, a UMP45, and last a HK416, the 416 does the same damage but is shorter and so faster to use, it cost 25 stars and so tok quite a while to get. I also bought a new set of bodyarmor.

This is a video of a hard mission I spent alot of time on.
This is the vanilla game, no mods, it shows all the planing lines and checkpoints

This was another kinda hard mission, it got a few mods, one that show the dead bodies, instead of them just beeing chack outlines, also the gun sounds are much more realistic.
Also added just for the replay is a Clean mod, that removes the liens and HUD, for a more clean look at the replay

Sounds almost exactly like Rainbow 6.

Except it's not a FPS, You control it top down, but yes, you do get a feeling of the old rainbow six games

This is a pretty fun game. Haven't put that many hours in it but enjoyed it a lot. Easy to goof up and get your dudes gunned down :)

Would love a procedurally generated option.
