First discovered by the Aussies, but then never confirmed. Now new Fast Radio Bursts have been detected in the Constellation Auriga. link This was actually detected a while back, but it takes a while to determine if this isn't an artifact from our solar system. That was a problem confirming the Australian sighting. Plus, since the origin is only determined by a constellation, I guess that means they haven't determined the actual source yet. |
