Bushy Run Battlefield16 Jul 2014 5:55 a.m. PST

We will be having our 251st anniversary reenactment this year on August 2 and 3.

The event will go from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature a reenactment of the first day's battle in the morning and the second day's battle in the afternoon.

Admission is $5 USD and children under 3 are admitted for free and includes admission to the museum as well as the battle reenactment.

In between the battle reenactments you can visit the camps of the two sides and we have a number of sutlers that will be selling their wares. We also have a great bookshop with a number of titles relevant to not only Pontiac's War but also the French and Indian War and Native American culture and history.

We will also be selling food and beverages on site so plan to make a day of it. If you were planning on visiting the battle field anyway, keep the first weekend in August in mind for that.

Hope all goes well for your reenactment. Sounds like it is well-planned.
