Thats basicly what Open Front is.
The game starts with an intro an american journalist is in Warsaw during the uprising. You would think he is going to tell the story of a polish hero killing germans, but no, you are the hero, talking about your experiences. The only explenation as to why you out match even Clint Eastwood in Where eagles dare when it comes to killing nazies, is that you were in the spanish civil war.
You gun down nazis in glouries HQ lovley blood and gore, feeling all powerfull as you kill most of the german army on the east front.
Like thats not enough you then talk in flashbacks about beeing in ocupide france 1940, where you to kill sevral divisions of germans, how hitler managed to keep France ocupided with only 20 guys I do not know(given that you killed the rest of them.

Sounds like a good game to just watch.

Yes, I totaly get flashbacks to where eagles dare, were clint guns down germans, he kills like a 100 of them in the movie.
No blood ofcourse but 100+ dead germans.
In this game there is blood.
Sadly the game is very mixed, the stuff in Poland is boring, very COD like, you have to run were you get orders to.
With lots of NPC polish fighters on your team.
However the stuff in france is very cool, open french country side, big open maps, lets you seak if you want, lots of flanking stuff ect.

Nothing wrong with shooting nazi's. FPS games always get absurd with how many enemies you fight.
I'd love if someone did a game where you only fight small numbers of enemies, but the combat is far more deadly.
