Well, it's not supposed to occur until July, but it's already been announced for the close of the Life With Archie comic series:

Gee. And I remember when comics were fun and devoid of life's issues. Oh well.

Only in the alternate timeline.

And you'll always have nancy and Sluggo. grin

It's all a code. They are going to reunify the series when the Archies divorce their wives and marry Jughead.

Archie Comics getting "edgy"?
Jeez.
I hate "edgy".
Of course I never liked Archie either, but that's no reason to kill him off.

Bah. Cheap melodrama to sell more comics. Which I guess is why they'e in business. Kudos to their marketing department for getting the media to buy in on it and hype it for 'em.
Otherwise, meh and *snort*.

CBR News spoke with Goldwater about preparing for "Life Without Archie," the legacy of the "Life With Archie" series and filling the void the book will leave in the company's publishing line.

So that takes them down to … like … only seventeen titles (not counting non-Archie titles like Sonic the Hedgehog, etc.)?

Archie Andrews in the UK was the puppet of a ventriloquist who amazingly made a career on radio. I could be a vent on radio and so could you.

So they got tired writing the comic so they decide to use him to push at least two liberal agendas.

Thing is these writers must have forgotten that Archie has also been a Superhero.

Nancy and Sluggo

Not if these writers get their hands on them you won't.

Nancy would become a drug out crack Bleeped text and Sluggo would be her pimp.
