GMT Games has finally announced the long awaited reprint/remake of Avalon Hill's MBT. Designer Jim Day is using the same system as his WW2 Panzer series of games for this Cold War era game.

Similar to the Panzer system there will be base game plus modules. Base game "MBT" will feature the USA vs Soviets, announced expansions are "BAOR" British and "FRG" West German.

On Military Matters had one in the store. First glance: Excellent production values. Lots and lots of charts.

Just ordered mine. Allows me to play 'Team Yankee' without the miniatures and elaborate terrain set-up when I feel like it.
