I saw that on TV. I was too young to understand, but somehow I remember it. I was at my grandparent's house for Christmas that year. Maybe that's why.

I do indeed remember it, though I was only six at the time. We lived in Houston and I was about as big a space nut as you could possibly imagine. The Apollo program was a magic time in my life and I am so happy to have experienced it.
