I've known a number of ballerinas in my life, some of them very, very well.
Pound for pound, they are some of the strongest athletes I've ever encountered. Phenomenal balance. Iron discipline. Exceptional pain tolerance. Madder than a sack of ferrets, mostly. Their feet and toes are usually a complete horror show. They make up for it by being able to do this
