Hello, About 10-15 years ago I used to see an artist at the midwestern USA art fairs, such as Omaha Nebraska and Sioux City. Back then there wasn't a lot of fantasy art at those shows so he kind of stuck out. I don't recall him being at a RenFair but its possible. He had a very nice 'Arthur Rackham' style with lots of linework, roots, trees, etc. Subject matter seemed to revolve around fairies, sprites, and mischievous forest creatures. I'm sure he had a name for his 'universe', something like "Creek Bottom", or similar. I can't find out who the artist was, and even worse can't find an image. At the time I didn't have the coin to buy a print, much less an original. Any ideas??? |
