I'm about to start a new work assignment in Charleston, SC. Are there any good game stores in the area? How about any clubs that meet on weeknights?

The Green Dragon is in North Charleston, I'm not familiar with any clubs that meet here.

Doc, I don't know about game stores, but I visited Charleston a few weeks ago for the first time. For good, cheap eats, I highly recommend checking out the Tattooed Moose. It looks like a bit of a dive, but they have two things that make it worth your while.

#1 Hand cut fries, fried in duck fat. Outrageously good.

#2 Mike's Famous Duck Club, this being a triple decker club sandwich made with duck confit, hickory smoked cheddar, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and red onion; on hawaiian bread with garlic aioli. Simply amazing.

OTOH, if you don't like duck…
